Appearing in the guide is free
Innlantern chooses hotels on public data: guest scores, location and policies (our method). There is no fee to be included, and you cannot pay to be included.
The guide covers the Grand Canyon, Route 66 and northern Arizona today: Tusayan, Williams, Flagstaff, Kingman and Seligman, Winslow and Holbrook, Sedona, Cameron, Page and Monument Valley. More of the Southwest will follow, including the other Route 66 states and southern Utah. If your place has good guest scores and is missing, write to us. Small, family-run motels and inns are welcome: several of the best-rated places on Route 66 are exactly that.
Your page in the guide
Every hotel in the guide gets its own page in English and Spanish, with:
- who your place suits best, and what guests should know before booking
- your guest scores, rooms, facilities and policies (check-in, pets, parking)
- the area, a map and distances to the park entrances, the viewpoints and the nearby towns
- a comparison with similar places, and frequent questions
- a button to your page on Booking.com with the guest's dates
Travellers who book through that button book you directly on Booking.com, as they do now. You keep managing everything there.
Use your page as your website on Google Maps
If your property does not have a website of its own, you can use your Innlantern page as the website link on your Google Business Profile, the listing that appears on Google Maps and in Google Search. Copy the address of your page (in English or Spanish), sign in to your Business Profile and paste it in the website field. It is free, and you can change or remove the link at any time. We never edit Google listings ourselves: only you, as the owner, can add it.
Featured place (advertisement)
Area pages can show a Featured box near the top, with a few hotels shown above the full list and highlighted on the map. It is always labelled "Featured · advertisement" so readers know it is paid.
- Your page stays exactly as independent as before: a payment never changes the text, the scores or the "good to know" section.
- Featured places are limited per area.
- Price and availability: contact us.

Corrections, photos and removal
If a fact on your page is wrong or out of date (check-in times, rooms, pets, parking, facilities), tell us and we will check it and update the page. If you would like your page to show your own photos, send them with a line confirming that you own them or have the right to share them. If you prefer not to be in the guide, ask and we will remove the page.
